About Brent Woods
Brent Woods has been a member of the Palos Township Republican Organization since he was 18 years old. He volunteered for the organization through 5 Committeemen, serving as Deputy Committeeman since 2012.
Brent represented the 3rd Congressional District on the Illinois GOP Platform Committee at both the 2012 and 2016 Illinois Republic Party Conventions. He represented the 6th Congressional District on the Committee to Nominate a National Committeeman and National Committeewoman at the 2024 Illinois Republican Party Convention.
He served as a delegate for Palos Township GOP at every Party Convention since 2012, serving as Palos Township Delegation Chair at the 2024 convention.
Under the leadership of Sean Morrison and Brent Woods, the Palos Township GOP has grown to its largest membership and participation in its history, working to get Republicans out to vote in every election. In 2024, those efforts brought the vote totals for the GOP to its highest percentage since 1984.
