About Brent Woods
Brent Woods has been a long time active community volunteer, serving on volunteer boards and commissions for over 20 years. He has served on the Worth Planning and Zoning Commission for 21 years, the past 9 years as Chair. He has been on the Board of Directors of the Disabled Patriot Fund for 14 years, currently serving in various capacities as board member, Secretary, Treasurer and President.
Woods was elected to the Township Board in 2013 and elected by the Township Board to serve as Supervisor Pro-Tem since 2015. When first elected, Trustee Woods lead a restructuring of the Township Board, creating a Board Committee structure.
Trustee Woods served as Chair of the Policy and Personnel Committee from 2013 - 2015, where he rewrote the Township personnel manual and established a Township Code by codifying individual ordinances of the Township. In 2015, he took the Chairmanship of the Finance and Administration Committee and has been chair since.
